Finna
I’ve always loved the word “finna”. Was very happy to see it called out in Kory Stamper’s Word by Word: The Secret Life of Dictionaries. π
The word βfinnaβ is an excellent example: itβs common in Southern English as an alteration of βfixing to,β which is itself a Southernism for βgoing to,β and it rarely appears in edited print outside the American South.
